The Scale Speed Syndicate garage today

THE GARAGE

Built Small. Taken Seriously.

The Scale Speed Syndicate Garage™ has been the working heart of Scale Speed Syndicate since the late 1970s.

Built as part workshop, part development center, and part very official-looking excuse to keep race cars under constant review, the garage is where Syndicate vehicle projects are studied, adjusted, repaired, reconsidered, and occasionally declared “probably good enough.”

Inside these walls, ideas become project vehicles. Project vehicles become test subjects. Test subjects become stories that somehow require additional shelf space.

Garage work is rarely limited to one category. On any given day, the shop may be handling a restoration project, reviewing a newly acquired vehicle, sorting out a questionable modification, or quietly pretending that an experimental idea did not get approved by management.

Some projects arrive with documented history and a clear purpose.

Others earn their place in the garage through instinct, suspicion, or the simple belief that they might be faster than they look.

Not every vehicle becomes a champion. Not every idea survives testing.

But if it made it through the doors of the Scale Speed Syndicate Garage™, it usually had one thing going for it.

Somebody thought it was worth a closer look.

OUR MOST RECENT BUILD

2026 - SSS /Borla Project

The SSS/Borla Project started in February of 2026, when a Borla Exhaust executive witnessed the Syndicate’s Ford GT LM in an impromptu track demo.

Impressed by its speed and sharp engineering, Borla supplied sponsorship and Exotic ZXX exhaust tech. The partnership has benefited both sides.

Following multiple successful test sessions, Project GT-LM demonstrated the speed and stability characteristics that ultimately secured Borla's support for the season.

And why not have two distinct color schemes?

The paints all dry, time to add SSS decals!

The next project is already in the garage.
