WHERE THE NEXT WIN BEGINS.
The garage has been the working heart of Scale Speed Syndicate since 1974.
Part workshop, part development center, and part competition facility, The Garage is where Syndicate vehicles are inspected, tuned, modified, repaired, restored, and prepared for whatever comes next.
Inside these walls, ideas become projects. Projects become competition cars, development vehicles, restorations, and special builds. Once completed, each vehicle takes its place within the appropriate SSS Division or program.
Garage work is rarely limited to one category. On any given day, the shop may be restoring a historic vehicle, evaluating a new acquisition, refining a competition setup, developing a custom build, or preparing a car for its next appearance on track.
Some projects arrive with documented history and a clear purpose. Others earn their place through performance potential, unusual character, or the simple belief that there is something more waiting to be discovered.
Not every vehicle becomes a champion. Not every development path leads to competition. But every project that enters the Scale Speed Syndicate Garage is given the same thing:
A reason to see what it can become.

THE SSS GARAGE IS ALWAYS BUSY.
SSS acquired the 1971 Vega in largely original form, giving the Garage a clean starting point for a new lightweight competition project.
The Vega was reworked with a sharper stance, competition-inspired detailing, and a bold orange-and-white SSS treatment designed to completely change its character.
The build emerged as a much more aggressive little machine, retaining the Vega’s compact proportions while giving it unmistakable Syndicate attitude.
The completed SSS Vega now wears its full orange-and-white competition treatment, with a sharper stance and a much more purposeful track-ready appearance.
From the rear, the finished build shows how completely the original car was transformed, balancing vintage Vega proportions with a cleaner, more aggressive SSS setup.
The project closed with a compact, lightweight build that looked faster, lower, and far more serious than the car that first entered the Garage. 🏁
This project started in February 2026, when the Syndicate acquired a beautiful Borla Exhaust*-liveried 1/64 scale Ford GT LM - and began evaluating it as a potential new SSS diecast racing competition platform.

This project started in February 2026, when the Syndicate acquired a beautiful Borla Exhaust*-liveried 1/64 scale Ford GT LM - and began evaluating it as a potential new SSS diecast racing competition platform.
The SSS Ford GT LM development platform during preliminary track evaluations. Initial performance results exceeded expectations.
Its combination of aggressive styling, racing heritage, and strong track potential quickly made it a favorite within the SSS Garage.
The project has since become one of the most recognizable builds in the current SSS lineup.

Trackside validation sessions confirmed the platform's competitiveness across multiple race formats. Additional development activities remain ongoing.
