Q: What exactly is a Scale Speed Syndicate™?
A: Officially, the Scale Speed Syndicate™ is a performance-oriented 1/64 scale motorsport organization dedicated to racing heritage, vehicle development, and the preservation of underground racing culture.
Unofficially, it probably is what happens when a hobby is left unsupervised for several decades.
Q: Is the Scale Speed Syndicate™ a real organization?
A: Define "real."
Q: How long has the Syndicate existed?
A: Historical records indicate operations began around 1974. Documentation quality
improves significantly after the invention of digital cameras.
Q: Why are there so many departments?
A: Administrative growth occurred gradually and was not adequately contained.
Q: Can I join the Syndicate?
A: Membership opportunities occasionally become available. Background checks are largely fictional.
Q: Why was the Driver's Meeting page discontinued?
A: Following an extensive review, management determined that allowing questions could create an expectation of answers.
Q: Are the products real?
A: Some are. Some were. Some may eventually be. Availability — and in certain cases, actual existence — may change without notice.
Q: Why does the mobile version look different?
A: Where do we begin? Yeppers, the mobile version looks terrible. Our only guess is that the mobile site may be operating as a "non-conformist", or maybe.. it's secretly a "left-wing socialist". The only thing we do know is that as it's always expressing itself creatively.
Our IT Department began a comprehensive six-month review, and the only thing the SSS Mobile Compatibility Task Force has concluded is the desktop version looks excellent.
